Pineapple, tree

Look I found this pineapple tree in Houston!
It's not really a Pineapple tree look at this site to see what pineapple plants really look like.

Houston, Texas

Hello everyone, I'm in Houston for a spot of sun. Needed to re-charge the old battery. I think I'll have a dip in this pool later, but just for now I need a bit of a sun bath just to start the day in a good way. Thanks to Iain and family for inviting me to visit.

Tractor

Down on the farm, I liked the look of this old gray Tractor, but my feet just wouldn't reach the pedals!

Just before the ice and show came, Rugly was out picking the last of the summer.

Stumpy

Stumpy
Just tried to squeeze in this hole to see if it could be a nice dry place for a snooze. But would you have guessed it! The hole was already taken. A little nest of squirrels were in there and they were not pleased to see me! Squirrels never are! That's just how it is I guess.

Love is all you need

Love is all you need. But probably not so environmentally acceptable to carve it into a tree. Bound to be something that adds to your carbon footprint or something! Rugly

Geocaching With Rugly

Went GPS treasure hunting at the weekend. Can't believe what fun it is, you have just got to give it a go if you have not already! Bet there is a box within 1km of where you live and you just never knew it!

The Dummy Tree

Took little Ida to the dummy tree today. She did not quite grasp the concept! She thought it was some sort of spares shop and started collecting a few extras in case of future losses. Just imagine it...being arrested for stealing dummies from the dummy tree. Kleptomania in the under threes is apparently a common problem, I'm told.

Maybe one day she'll give up her little addiction. Hopefully before she hits her teens.

Don't ever eat these!

Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric

Warning: Don't even touch these let alone eat one!

My very own Crisps

Busy in the kitchen developing a possible prototype new crisp. Yes you guessed it! The Rugly Puffs Crisp. How cool would that be?

In a New York Gallery

Don't try this at home! Well you can try it at home, but just don't try it in a New York Gallery! Apparently Lisa got asked to leave just after Rugly posed for this lovely picture. Keep on snapping Lisa and don't let the art Police get in your way!
